Our Services
|
We can arrange the following services for you:
- Maid Service: Any number of days and hours.
- Chef/Cook: In most areas we can provide a local cook to prepare simple
regional fare or an expert chef for gourmet meals or elegant dinner parties.
- Baby-sitter: Experienced and with references.
- Linen Change: Rates vary with locations.
- Infant equipment: crib, high chair, car seat, etc. Please provide age of
child.
- Pre-stocking of provisions: Groceries, household or office supplies, alcoholic
and non-alcoholic beverages including fine wines.
- Mobile phone rental: Delivered to your door prior to your departure from the
USA.
- Car rental: From compact Ford Escorts to Mini-vans to luxury cars including
Mercedes Benz, BMW and Ferrari.
- Chauffeur: Full time, part time or for private daily tours, airport
collection, etc.
- Tennis, golf and horseback riding: Temporary membership at private clubs or
directions to public clubs/courses. Lessons, rentals, court and tee time
reservations.
- Day trips: (with or without English guide) casinos jaunts, historical
monument treks, catered picnics, hot air balloon rides, helicopter rides,
dinner parties in private chateaux or manor houses, spa visits, garden and
architecture tours.
- Private tours: (with or without English guide), chateaux/castle, winery,
archaeological, shopping, museum and gastronomy.
- Classes: (with or without English instructor) cooking, language, art, wine
tasting and oenology.
- Yacht and sailboat rentals: with or without crew.
- Helicopter transfers: Nice to Monaco or St. Tropez only.
- Fax machine: Certain areas only.
- Portable air conditioning units: Certain areas only.
- Hotel reservations: Either before or after your rental.
- Train tickets, rail and underground passes: Eurail products including
national passes, point to point tickets, seat reservations and sleeper cars.
Plus 5-day unlimited Paris Metro and London Tube passes.
- European currency: Euros or Pound Sterling delivered to your door prior to
your departure from the USA.
- Cancellation Insurance: Strongly recommended.

FAQs

What is the minimum rental?
Paris: Five nights. Although there are exceptions, most owners do not accept
arrivals on Sunday.
Other areas of France: One week and generally rentals are Saturday to
Saturday. We have many owners that are flexible with this, especially during
spring, fall and winter.
Italy: One week. Sometimes an owner can be persuaded to accept a 5 night
rental in Rome, Florence, Venice, Positano and certain areas of
Tuscany/Umbria. Again rentals are usually Saturday to Saturday, with a few
exceptions.
Caribbean and Mexico: One week, although often in low season (mid April to
mid December), five nights are accepted. In most cases arrivals are accepted
on any day.
London: one week minimum, arrival on any day accepted.
Other Locations: Generally one week.
What are the rates?
We are proud to offer the best value in upscale villa and apartment rentals.
There are many factors in determining the rate, including amount of people,
time of year and length of stay. We will quote you a rate for your specific
dates/property immediately upon request. We always offer significant
reductions on all rentals that are at least 11 nights in Paris, London,
Caribbean and Mexico or 3 weeks in all other areas. Often an owner of a
larger property will give special or reduced rates for 2-6 people.
What is included?
Our prices always include bed, bath and all household linens. An initial
supply of paper and cleaning products are provided. Taxes are always included
except in a few Caribbean and Mexican properties.
Are there any additional costs?
Any other additional costs are specified in the description of the
properties. Pool heating is usually additional as well as opening or
maintaining the pool outside the normal season. Generally heat during winter
is additional. For most Italian rentals a damage deposit is payable to the
keyholder. Upon arrival at the property you will be asked to hand over a
deposit which will be returned to you at the end of your stay. As for
apartments and villas in France, England, Ireland, the Caribbean and Mexico,
a refundable damage/security deposit will be due with final payment. In lieu
of a cash deposit, a few owners request a credit card imprint and only charge
your card in case of any damages or unpaid charges. Of course there are
always a few exceptions. In your lease the details of the applicable security
deposit and extra charges are clearly stated.
Should I bring linens?
Bed, bath and household linens are provided at all of our properties. Beach
or pool towels are rarely supplied. If provided it will be clearly indicated
in the property description. A linen change except in city apartments is
once per week in France and Italy. We can arrange a mid-week change of linen
if requested in advance.
At what time should I arrive?
In France and Italy arrival times are generally Saturday 4:00 - 8:00 PM;
departures are Saturday mornings from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. If you rent one of
our apartments in Paris and London, we try to accommodate the early arrivals
from American carriers and in most case clients can proceed directly to the
apartment upon their arrival. Frequently we can obtain permission for earlier
access but this must be requested in advance. Any modifications to the above
have to be agreed in advance. Unless we have outgoing or incoming tenants,
you will have immediate occupancy as well as late check out with our
Caribbean and Mexican rentals. Otherwise check in is at 3:00 PM and check out
is at Noon.
When will I receive the instructions about reaching the property?
Once we have received final payment for your rental, you will be sent a
detailed arrival packet, including directions, local contact, address,
telephone number and names of any staff. Final payment is due 45 days prior.
If all payments are made on time you will receive your arrival packet 3-4
weeks prior to occupancy.
What if a problem arises during my rental?
Occasionally problems arise. You can either get in touch with the
caretaker/keyholder, the owner or our local representative. If the problem
is not resolved to your complete satisfaction, we encourage you to contact
Heaven on Earth, and you may call us collect. We are available Monday through
Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (EST) or on Saturdays, May to September,
from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (EST). When you receive your rental packet from us, you
will also receive the relevant telephone numbers where we can be contacted.
Can I bring my dog?
Frequently small pets are accepted. There may be a small supplemental
charge. Please inquire upon booking
How can I check the availability of a property?
You may request more information through one of several ways: e-mail, telephone, fax or fill out
our online Request Form. We can generally advise you of
availability within 24-48 hours.
How do I make a booking?
Once the availability of your desired property is confirmed, we will send you
our lease. You will have 14 days to return the lease with the initial 50%
deposit. Some owners are flexible and will accept a 30% deposit to secure
the rental. Final payment and refundable damage deposit, if applicable, will be
due in our office 45 days prior to the start of your rental. All payments
are by check only and are made payable to Heaven on Earth, Inc. Once full
payment is received, complete arrival details including address, directions,
telephone number and key pick information will be sent to you. All deposits
are non-refundable unless the property can be re-rented during your time
