Villa Stella Luna

Villa Stella Luna is located among several luxury properties and small gardens in the upper part of Positano.  The villa, situated along a small alleyway in a quiet, residential area, sits atop a rocky ridge, against one of the most beautiful backdrops of the world.  Its location, in the upper part of Positano, offers wonderful, panoramic views over the entire town and the Li Galli islands.  The villa is reached by walking approximately 200 meters along a pedestrian pathway situated off of the main coastal road that passes through Positano.  There are approximately 90 steps that lead from the main coastal road up to the pedestrian pathway, and another 47, which take you to the front gate of the Villa.  From the villa, guests can reach the center of town, on foot, in 10 minutes and the beach in 15 minutes.   

Villa Stella Luna is one of the most enchanting properties along the entire Amalfi Coast.  It is a perfect place to spend your time, whether relaxing and enjoying its wonderful terraces and pool or as a breathtaking location for a wedding celebration or memorable event.  The entrance to the villa leads onto a small wine garden, through approximately 20 steps, and the shaded corner of the garden is an ideal place for a romantic dinner under the stars.  The villa also features a heated outdoor Jacuzzi seating 6 people in the garden.

The villa is divided on four floors.  An external staircase leads through the garden down to the terrace and swimming pool.  One of the terrace levels houses a small, covered, oriental inspired wood patio, with tables and chairs leading right up to the rocky slope.  The swimming pool (10 x 10m) lies on the lowest terrace, offering plenty of shaded areas.  The outdoor lamps set throughout the garden create a very intimate atmosphere at night.  Villa Stelle has air conditioning and a telephone in every room.  Maid provides daily cleaning service, porter, and parking for 1 car are all included in the rental price.  Breakfast (included in the rental price) is served daily on the main terrace.

Main floor: Large living room with sofa, TV, fireplace, VCR, CD player, stereo, computer with DSL Internet connection and mini bar.  The well-equipped, rustic, country style kitchen also has a dining table.  Kitchen enjoys 3 refrigerators, oven, 5-range stovetop (large external burners are available as well), microwave, dishwasher, and telephone.  Direct access to a queen-size double bedroom (AMALFI) with en-suite bathroom with shower and balcony can be reached from the living room.  The opposite side of the living room leads out onto a spacious, partly shaded, panoramic terrace, comfortably furnished with tables and chairs. A part of the furnished terrace also has a canopy creating shade, if necessary

Ground floor: Accessible by 21 steps leading down from the main hall.  The ground floor has two double bedrooms (CAPRI & NERANO), each with a private bathroom with shower.  External toilet on the corridor. The third bedroom (GIACARANDA), lying 10 steps from the main villa, with access from outside is a double bedrooms with bath with an open shower.

Patio/Deck: Located 20 steps down from the main villa (GARDEN ROOM) is an independent one-room bedroom/apartment with a double bed is located close to a large patio.  This bedroom is one of the 5 main bedrooms of the property.  The bathroom has a shower carved from inside the rock face.  The apartment has air conditioning, heating, and a telephone.  The apartment is approximately 20 steps from the main house and 7 steps to the outdoor patio and 22 steps to the pool. 

The villa enjoys two, independent annexes.  

LI GALLI ANNEX: (6th bedroom available at an extra cost) This studio apartment/annex is located about 10 steps down/under from the main terrace of the property.  It has a double bedroom with a private bathroom with large shower stall and panoramic windows with a view out onto Positano

Access: The villa is reached by walking approximately 200 meters along a pedestrian pathway situated off of the main coastal road that passes through Positano.  There are approximately 90 steps that lead from the main coastal road up to the pedestrian pathway, and another 60, which take you to the front gate of the Villa.

Facilities: TV with SKY, VCR-DVD, stereo system with CD, personal computer with internet connection and wireless, telephone and fax, air conditioning in the rooms, central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, 3 refrigerators, oven, 5-range stovetop (large external burners are available as well), microwave, icemaker. Safe boxes in all bedrooms. Mini bar in the lounge. Heated outdoor Jacuzzi seating 6 people. Bath and bed linens, breakfast, porter service.

Services: Continental breakfast served daily (between 7.30am and 11.30am).  Porter to and from the villa (from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm (guests will be charged after 6:30 pm).  Maid and gardener included.  Chef available upon request.

Parking: Parking can be arranged at a near-by, guarded parking lot.  Parking costs to be paid on site (not included in property rental).

Maid service: Daily housekeeping included; Villa is staffed with a maid, porter, and gardener. Linens and towels are changed once a week.  Additional cleaning can be arranged at an extra fee and must be paid locally.  On-site laundry service available at an extra cost.
