Belladonna is a charming brick property, situated in the beautiful Tuscan countryside between Cortona and famous wine town of Montepulciano, close to the natural oasis of the lake of Montepulciano.
Internally the property has been finished with “cotto” flooring and wooden ceiling beams with “cotto” tiles.
The villa has been decorated in a simple yet attentive manner.
On the ground floor the front door opens into a comfortable living room with a splendid stone and brick fireplace and double sofa bed. There is also a very spacious and practical kitchen, decorated with pastel colored wood, that also has a working fireplace, ideal for grilling. Especially meat since this area is well known due to the breeding of the “Chianina” cows.
The kitchen is completed by a dining area with direct access to the portico fully equipped for al-fresco dining.
On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with shower, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a laundry room.
From the living room area, a typical stone internal staircase accesses the first floor where there you find one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath tub and a small bedroom with a single child bed. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
Outdoors
Belladonna has one hectare of lawn, with bushes of rosemary, lavender and cypresses which line the entrance road to the property. Outside the property there is a spacious porch with a wooden table and chairs perfect for enjoying al-fresco meals and drinks.
The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday in October, it’s 20 meters from the property and measures 10 m x 5 m with a variable depth of 0.90 to 2.50 meters. The pool area is surrounded with “cotto” tiles and framed with a beautiful lawn. This area is equipped with pergola, comfortable sun lounges and deck chairs.
